Welcome to Oahu! After taking a 36 minute flight from Maui to Oahu, via Hawaiian Airlines, we stayed at Embassy Suites in Honolulu on Waikiki Beach. Embassy Suites was very good, and the day we got there we went to the beach and the pool after eating food from the hotel bar. Waikiki Beach was alright, but had way too many rocks in the ocean. It is pretty dangerous because you could scrape your feet, but it still had crystal clear water. The pool at Embassy Suites was very nice, having a Jacuzzi section, a kids play section, and a large pool that is deepest at 4 feet. The food was nice, but kind of the same as Maui, not many different options.
The next day, we went to Pearl Harbor to explore the Japan’s attack on America, on December 7, 1941. This was a whole day trip and our tour name was, “The Stars and Stripes” tour and it was from 8:30-4:30pm. It was very good, but do NOT get the lunch package. It was a food truck with uncooked food. The next day, we left but we will be back because we didn’t get to finish everything. All in all, Hawaii is almost perfect and is an amazing vacation spot to visit!!!
